Managing COVID 19

We would like to provide you with information on how we are managing COVID 19 concerns in the office as well as information on managing stress. It can be hard to find ways to manage stress and anxiety when you are spending more time at home.  Human beings tend to struggle with uncertainty as we like to know what is going to happen next!  While we do not have many confirmed cases of COVID 19 in our community at this time, we all remain uncertain of what the future holds regarding this virus and other illnesses.  It is our recommendation that everyone follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as much as possible.  We are using the recommendations from the North Dakota Department of Health and the CDC to inform how we are conducting business at Becoming Balanced.
At this time, Becoming Balanced is making the following changes:
  • Our office is open!  We are here and answering phones.  While our office remains open, we do encourage you to consider our telehealth option to be consistent with CDC recommendations.
  • We are offering telehealth services!  See here for more information: https://becomingbalancednd.com/telehealth-and-managing-anxiety/
  • We are sanitizing shared spaces, door handles, light switches, and more two times daily
  • We are not coming into the office if we are not feeling well.  We understand the inconvenience of rescheduling when we are ill.  It is important to us to reduce the spread of all illnesses.
  • We are waiving our late cancellation fee if you cancel due to illness.
  • We will be communicating with you as quickly as we can if our office makes any changes regarding how we provide care.
  • We do have a higher volume of phone calls than usual.  Please be patient with us!  We will return your call as soon as we can.
  • We do update our social media content frequently, our Facebook page is a great source of up-to-the-minute information. https://www.facebook.com/becomingbalancednd

We do expect people will not come into our office if they are not feeling well.  The best way to prevent the spread of illnesses is to stay home!

It is very important to make sure you are obtaining your COVID 19 information from solid sources. Here are some recommendations of good sources:
